Enka was awarded more than 500$m contract for the design and construction of a new terminal. The new Sheremetyevo-3 Terminal including a new apron and engineering infrastructure has an expected capacity of 12 million passengers per year. The construction also included the construction of a 350,000m2 apron area, a control tower, flyovers, car parks. The new terminal building has six floors and a ground floor area. It is 38.5m high and its roof is a steel dome with a 60m diameter and aluminum glazed facade.

I was involved in providing in construction site supervision for concrete and steel works of terminal building, review of the preliminary design based on the SNIP Russian building code, and structural design of the temporary scaffolding for the steel canopy structure.
