Isozaki Tower, Italy
Designed by Arata Isozaki and Andrea Maffei, the Citylife Tower represents the future business and shopping district of CityLife in Milan. With a total height of 207 m above street level, it is the tallest building in Italy. The building includes 46 levels for office use, three service levels and a lobby directly connected to the shopping mall and the new underground metro station.
The design of the tower comprises a reinforced concrete structure with steel-concrete modules reaching a total height of 223m from the foundations. The foundations are made of a foundation slab on piles. I carried out seismic engineering, structural engineering, wind engineering for this building referring to several parts and chapters of Eurocode specifications.
