A 22 m tall reinforced concrete building was evaluated according to the requirements of EC8: a six story + basement office building located in Northern Italy. The building was observed to have torsional irregularity and weak story deficiencies. The building’s lack of seismic detailing required to investigate the status of yielding for the structure. The building’s overall response was assessed using both nonlinear static and linear dynamic procedures.
